Description

In this course you will gain a foundational understanding of communication, identify its significant characteristics, relationship to the workplace and learn about strategies to build effective communication skills. At the completion of this course, you will be able to:

  1. Define communication and identify why it’s important.
  2. Apply effective communication strategies in the workplace.
  3. Utilize the elements of building rapport.
  4. Demonstrate the principles of active listening.
  5. Identify communication challenges when working with others.
  6. Employ conflict resolution strategies, as needed.
