Description
Some of the biggest decisions we make involve housing. Everyone needs shelter, so finding the right house to rent or buy is important to your overall well-being. We will explore the many factors that go into making a housing decision, including location and what's affordable for you. This course will also provide best practices for applying to rent or purchase a home.
At the completion of this course, you will be able to:
- Determine what factors are important to you when looking for a home to buy or rent.
- Use the steps provided to rent a home.
- Purchase renter's insurance, if needed.
- Discuss the benefits of purchasing a home or renting a home and when either decision makes sense.
- Differentiate between types of home loans and financing.
