This class will help you understand basic signs, symptoms, and treatments for respiratory diseases including chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) and asthma.
By the end of this course, you will be able to:
- Understand basic information about asthma and COPD
- Understand how the caregiver can support the consumer living with asthma or COPD
- Understand the person-centered approach when supporting consumers living with asthma or COPD
- Understand what to observe, record, and report for asthma and COPD in partnership with the consumer and consumer’s family
