Description
During your time as a caregiver you may interact with a consumer who experiences psychosis and/or mania. In this simulation, learners will meet multiple consumers who are experiencing symptoms of psychosis or mania. Learners will be prompted to make decisions about how to interact with and support the consumer. By the end of this course, learners would be able to:
- Identify symptoms of psychosis and mania
- Familiarized with strategies to support care of person dealing with symptoms of psychosis and mania
- Make decisions about promoting the consumer's safety
- Make the decision about how and when to seek help
