Description
This is course #2052 in IHSS Career Pathways and CalGrows. It is part of the General Health & Safety Pathway, which is a general pathway.
This class will discuss mental health and well-being, and how it impacts your capacity to operate well when interacting with others. We will also discuss ways that poor mental health can impact peoples' ability to work, study, and/or maintain their personal health and hygiene.
By the end of this course, you will be able to:
- Describe what mental health and well-being are
- List factors that contribute to positive mental health and well-being
- Discuss impacts that negative mental health can have on people's ability to interact with others, work, study, and/or maintain their personal health and hygiene
- Apply newly learned strategies to real-life scenarios
