    John Xie was born in Guangdong, China. Mandarin and Cantonese are both his mother languages. He holds a bachelor's in medicine from Guangzhou Medical University, and was a surgeon in China for 16 years. He has experience working in a teaching hospital, including 10 years training and teaching resident doctors. 

  • Kayla Ryan

    Kayla Ryan is a graduate from the University of Evansville with a Bachelor of Music in Music Therapy. She is a transplant from Southern Indiana to California, where she currently resides. She is currently featured in The MuSense Manual as a co-composer of an original song and is a volunteer in her local area.

    Kayla thrives from making and maintaining genuine connections with others every day. She strongly believes that relationships, professionally and personally, are one of the key components to success. A compassionate person has the power to impact the future.

    After hours, Kayla can be found at the gym, observing nature, walking her dogs, having a Netflix night, or out enjoying Karaoke!

  • Keisa Scott

    Keisa Scott is a Washington, DC/MD native and has over 20 years of experience in the medical field. She is very passionate about educating and helping others. As an educator, Keisa always finds the good in people and it makes her happy when everyone succeeds! She is eager to continue sharing her knowledge and experience with Career Pathways students in-person and witnessing her students grow as excellent Healthcare providers!

  • McKenna Braaton

    McKenna has over ten years experience working with children and adults with special needs in clinical, in-home, and special education settings. She has a background as a care provider for a family member and for children with disabilities. Working in California school systems, she designed and delivered instructional training to teaching teams across nine district sites and trained teams of instructional technicians to deliver trainings to site and districtwide staff. A master’s degree in human rights brought her to Kutupalong Refugee Camp in Cox’s Bazar, Bangladesh where she worked with Rohingya refugee Teaching Artists who deliver art education to communities in crisis and later to Sawla, Ghana supporting community led non-government organizations with the preservation of culture and language. In her free time, she loves to travel, listen to live music, bake, and read as well as spending time with loved ones, animals and working on deepening her mindfulness practices.

  • Morela Madriz-Ray

    Morela develops and facilitates at Homebridge training programs. Morela has 25 years’ experience working in a variety of healthcare settings, including as a medical doctor in her native Venezuela. Morela holds an evaluated degree comparable to the US Doctor of Medicine from the University of Carabobo, Valencia, Carabobo, Venezuela. For the last 7 years, Morela offered American Heart Association certification courses to both professional and community responders in her emergency response training company. Morela's most recent achievement has been to complete the Plant Based Nutrition program at T. Colin Campbell Center for Nutrition Studies in August 2022. 

  • Myca Ongteco-Barbosa

    Myca is a native Filipino who has found her new home in the culturally diverse Bay Area. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Santo Tomas and has a decade of experience as a Learning and Development professional. She has recently embarked on an exciting journey as an Instructor at Homebridge, where she hopes to partner with providers and work towards building a brighter future for Home Care together.

    When she’s not in the virtual classroom, you’ll find her catching up on her favorite podcasts, exploring cool new places, and capturing memories through her camera lens.

  • Rahil Mounira Hernandez

     Rahil has an educational background in Human Biology and a Masters in Public Health from the University of California, San Diego. She has dedicated herself to community service and non-profit work, from having worked for Feeding San Diego to the American Red Cross. She has also worked with veterans at the VA to ease symptoms of PTSD and chronic pain. Rahil has experience creating and teaching Mindful and Compassionate Leadership courses for future healthcare providers and caregivers to alleviate burnout and gain skills in compassionate care. Before coming to Homebridge, Rahil was a program manager for the The San Diego Refugee Communities Coalition, where she spearheaded initiatives to support refugee populations, including coordinating COVID-19 vaccine events and facilitating access to CA state parks for children and young adults. Outside of work, you'll find Rahil immersing herself in art, painting, and drawing daily. With their diverse background and unwavering dedication, she is set to make a positive impact on the Homebridge team and the communities we serve.

  • Rhowana Gandy

    Rhowana Gandy epitomizes in-home healthcare excellence. With a B.S. in Nursing from Dominican University, Rhowana possesses over ten years of in-home senior patient care experience. 

    Since joining Homebridge, Rhowana found her passion for supporting and coaching new hires. She exhibited great care and concern for new hires, assisting them enhance their qualities and develop the skills necessary for outstanding caregiving.

    Today, Rhowana demonstrates her commitment to in-home healthcare excellence by sharing her expertise as a Career Pathways in-person traveling instructor for Northern California.

  • Ronnie Tang

    Ronnie is a native of China, with fluency in speaking Cantonese and Mandarin. His experience in developing consultative relationships and managing client communications is likely to be valuable in building long-term partnerships with healthcare providers. He is dedicated to understanding each provider's unique characteristics and requirements, and tailoring his approach and communications to meet their needs. This is especially critical in healthcare, where providers often have specific challenges and concerns.

    Ronnie holds the Doctoral Degree of Traditional Chinese Medicine from the Five Branches University of San Jose, with additional experience training in Medical Healthcare Interpreter. Ronnie’s passion for continuing education, dedication to his field, and desire to expand his knowledge and skill set is evidenced by his pursuit of a Bachelor of Science in Nursing.

    Ronnie looks forward to making a positive impact on the healthcare providers he works with.
