    Parking: There is no free parking available. The building is located on the corner of 15th and K, across the street from Capitol Garage restaurant and behind the Convention Center loading docks. You will see a parking lot on the corner of 15th and K, and adjacent to that, you will see the Center for Healthy Communities. The building is six-story, brick, horseshoe shaped building with a mural painted on that says “Healthy Happens Here.” If you are having trouble finding the building, please call Ryan at 916-558-6766. There are several parking garages in the area: Capitol Garage, Capitol Centre Garage, 1600 J St., 1614 J St., and 1621 K St.

    Public Transportation: Are there bus lines running within walking distance of the facility.

    No on-site parking. This location does NOT have a dedicated parking lot, and street parking is also very limited. We recommend taking public transportation.

    The #14, #14R and #49 bus lines run in front of the church. The San Jose & Randall Street Muni Station (on the J Church line) is about a quarter mile away while the Glen Park Bart station (serving the Yellow, Blue, Green, and Red lines) is just over half a mile away.

    The offices of the San Francisco In-Home Support Services Public Authority are located on the 9th floor. When you arrive, press the call button by the door and inform the building manager that you are going to the 9th floor offices of the San Francisco Public Authority for training. The building manager will then grant you access and you can take the elevator to the 9th floor. Please arrive no later than 9:15am for your class. We strongly recommend bringing a snack and lunch for yourself, as limited time is available to exit the building for lunch during this day-long training. This site has no on-site parking.

    Public transportation is highly recommended. From the Powell Street BART or MUNI station, exist at the corner of 4th and Market. Walk south on 4th Street until you arrive at Folsom Street. Turn right on Folsom Street. The San Francisco Public Authority is located in the Salvation Army Building.
